copy largefiles using scp and ssh breaks!!

my ssh is aborting after copying some files using scp from my info-server INFO_HOST to my mailserver MAILER_HOST with the
following error..

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

To avoid this :

I have added the followig in the MAILER_HOST machine's /etc/host.allow file,

ALL: root@INFO_HOST

Then, scp worked fine with out any break.
